the worst feeling in the world (friend responses)

Last night, Jamison and I got home around 2am from cleaning and organizing all Saturday and Sunday at my grandparents. You would think I would be happy to be home, but no. I experienced one of the worst feelings in the world:

After spending the weekend cleaning and organizing someone's home, walking into your own messy apartment.

I've spent the last 3 hours cleaning to remedy the situation. To help me get through the last few chores, I thought I'd find out some of my friend's worst moments... maybe it'll make all the laundry I'm folding more bearable.

The Worst Feeling in the World:

Breakups.

Working a 6-day week bottling beer only to realize you'll be spending your one day off bottling your own beer.

Almost breaking 10,000-50,000 dollar equipment in my lab.

Waiting for a breakup that you know is coming.

When you can't find your car keys in the morning.

When you've done laundry all day and get ready to go to bed when it's already really late, only to realize you didn't put the sheets back on the bed...

Working seven days in a row and looking forward to your three days off in a row only to find out your coworker has the flu and you need to cover for them for 2-3 days. After purchasing concert tickets.

After being seasick for 12 hours and realizing the rough seas will not end for another 24 hours.

The first day back to work after taking vacation days.

When you clean the kitty litter box and he immediately goes in there to take a smelly shit... every time!! It's like he's waiting for you to clean it so he can ruin your life.

Hurting the feelings of someone you care about... or letting them down.

When you send an inappropriate email/text to the wrong person.

Missing your alarm and waking up late when you need to be somewhere.

Taking the time to prepare a meal, then dropping it on the floor.

A broken heart.

Getting "the spins" when you drink too much.

You are in an important meeting and you have to go number 2... really bad.

Running out of gas a mile from the gas station. In a snowstorm. Do you walk it? Or call roadside assistance? WHAT DO YOU DO!?!?

The feeling when you know you have to get up early but can not fall asleep

Okay, these socks, chonies, and t-shirts aren't so bad after all....

  1. Oh my gosh the laundry one hands down. I hate doing laundry because I hate putting it away. So I especially hate when I have to put the sheets back on the bed. I let Mitch do that every week haha
